Learn the fundamentals of Wu Chi Kung Fu in 6 weeks.
No join up fees, no uniforms, just pure KUNG FU!
What you will learn:
Ancient Chinese exercises that develop strength and suppleness
The Chinese based all of their movements on biomechanics well before science came along. These exerciese will loosen your body up, make you more youthful and shape it into the Kung Fu body.
First you must crawl, stand up, walk and then run. This all takes time and some effort. One cannot assume to run before they can stand up! In Wu Chi we have a steady ma (stance) that is rooted to the ground. We will build on this first so it can handle the rigours of movement and stepping during playing the Kung Fu moves.
How to hit quicker than a boxer
The unique moves in Wu Chi are derived from years of intense study to provide an efficient, effective and biomechanically correct way to hit. Using different joints in our body we are able to hit fast, hard and deliver a weight shift shock.
We do not teach out forms or katas
Only at the higher levels may you learn a set sequence of moves, but this will be for you to understand the science behind the Wu Chi movements in the hope of expanding your appreciation of the art. In this 6 week course you will just learn what works effectively on the street.

- Yes monday is a morning class...6am sharp. If you think that's harsh when it's coming into summer in the byron shire then this class is not for you. Think of the Shaolin guys waking up and training in snow at 3am in the morning... Besides morning is the best time of day to exercise. Try it and you will become converted.
